5 Reasons To Stay at NC500 Pods in Brora, Scotland

Brora is a beautiful, quaint village in the northern part of the Highlands region, located in Scotland. It is known for its picturesque scenery of nature in the area, and its stunning architecture of the buildings that would remind you of the Britain that people experienced 100+ years ago.

Being in such a special region of the country, it is surrounded by eye-candy, with the Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve being extremely close to the village. With that in mind, taking a trip up to the north of the country is certainly something worth doing.

Scotland is a place that many have the desire to visit, but never get round to doing so. With charming towns/villages being in abundance and the rich history that the country has, it is somewhere that should definitely be visited at least once in a lifetime.

Let’s take a look at five reasons why you should stay at NC500 Pods that are close in location to the Brora village in Scotland

1. Brora Beach

The residents of Brora are lucky enough to have such a beautiful coastline at the side of their home-town. Brora Beach is stunning, with scattered rocks and cliffs giving it a naturistic and raw feeling that no other beach can give.

The silky, white sand and the glistening aquamarine sea will have you feeling like you are in the Mediterranean or the Caribbean rather than Scotland, and the residents will make you feel like you’re at home.

2. Nature to Explore

In the surrounding area of Brora, there is no shortage of mountains, cliffs, lakes, and other parts of nature that we sometimes overlook. As mentioned above, the Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve is in close proximity to Brora, and has a range of different wildlife living in it, including seals and rare birds that are unseen in other parts of the country.

There are also mountains and hills all over the area, giving you an opportunity to go for a walk or an adventure whilst on your travels.

3. Things to Visit

The good thing about Brora is that it is in abundance of things to visit and see in the area. For example: Dunrobin Castle is a magnificent building with a vast amount of rooms to explore, gardens to appreciate and stunning architecture that puts buckingham palace at rest.

Also located in Brora is the Brora Distillery, known historically for its creation of Scotch Whisky, a national favourite beverage. This is certainly worth visiting as they frequently do tours around the building with explanations of how the whisky was made.

4. Activities in the Area

There are many things to do in Brora. For example: the Brora Golf Club. Participate in an 18-hole golf course with many other golfers from the area, and enjoy the fun that the game offers whilst overlooking Brora Beach and its beautiful sea.

Alternatively, there are many restaurants, pubs and bars in the Brora village. There is the Brora Heritage Site which is a small museum looking over many things that are a part of the Brora history.

5. The Pods

The best reason to stay at NC500 Brora Pods is the pods themselves. Brora is a beautiful region, but is a lot different to the rest of the country, especially the urban, modern areas. Staying with NC500 Pods would provide you with a modern, sleek place to stay with all the amenities and appliances of modern life being included.
